Ant Proof Stand for 10-frame hive

I live in a part of SC where ants are a terrible nuisance. When I set up my fist hives, the ants were thick in the hives, and I actually lost a hive due to the infestation. I originally sat my hives on small tables and put the legs of the tables in bowls of vegetable oil. It was a mess, but somewhat effective. When I found these ant proof stands on the internet, I was so excite. They work beautifully and are easy to maintain. Every time I set up a hive, I use a defyant stand. I highly recommend this product if you fight ants. They are well made and are esthetically pleasing! Thank you for an outstanding product!

Fantastic solution for my ant problem wish I found this sooner!

We had an ant problem and I used these stands to keep ants out of stored equipment. I stacked boxes of honey as high as could lift them. They did not falter. Ants do not cross an oil reservoir. They're bulletproof.

I live in Oakland, CA and have tried different systems for dealing with Argentine Ants. This is the best by far. Highly recommend.

This is exactly the ant stand I conceived in my mind, but didn't have the skill to build. If you have ants, you won't after this.

These stands were easy to assemble and set up, and stopped an ant invasion cold, easily. My hives went from being Ant City to no ants visible anywhere on the hive. The only bad thing I could really say about these stands is the spot-welds that hold them together are ample but really sloppy-looking, so if aesthetics are important to you maybe weld your own and buy the DefyAnt feet instead.

I have 9 Defyant Stands now. I bought them first to combat the ants at an organic cattle ranch where I had my hives. Then I found them useful for leveling my hives for the Dadant West Beetle drawer traps. Haven't had any problems with ants or small hive beetles. Great product that saves me time and money dealing with these two bee pest. Defyant always has prompt delivery and great customer service and these stands will last a lifetime.

Thank you to whoever invented this !!! Ants were invading our small hive and I placed big buckets with oil underneath but unfortunately it caused many bee deaths. Buckets did stop ants but after the first rain they filled with water and the stench was really bad. Therefore when I saw this product I ordered it immediately. It is 100 times better than buckets. We are very happy with it.

Liked the 5.5" height AGL giving more flexibility for multi-supered hives. Price is appropriate. Service is OUTSTANDING..Just bought 5 more Single 10-frame Stands.
