For the do-it-yourselfer to use in your apiary projects: Each set includes 4 feet and 4 zinc-plated coupling nuts. Our ant-barrier feet maintain the qualities of the original Defyant Stands. Adjustable from 4 3/8" to 5 1/2" height. Width of each foot is 4 1/4". All dimensions approximate.
Cups and deflectors made of aluminum. Threaded rod is zinc-plated steel. 2 1/8" long coupling nuts are zinc-plated.
To set up, raise deflectors and add oil (not included) to keep ants from climbing up into your hives. Lower deflector to keep rain, debris and animals out of oil. Leave a small gap between the cup and the deflector that ants won't cross

Great Stands!
I have tried all kinds of things to keep ants out of my hives. These stands are an answer to prayer. They are well constructed and work great!

Outstanding Quality
I was in need of an ant deterrent system for my hives and looked into a number of "home-made" options, this was in an effort to save money. Finally I decided to spend some $$ and settled on these. When they arrived I was totally amazed with the quality of the product. These are not lightweight, or flimsy "feet", they are constructed of heavy gauge metal and stout threaded rod. In short: I am going to increase the "stout-ness" of my stand just to be comparable to the quality of these feet I ordered from DefyAnt
